We are the Suffolk Chapter of the Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association.
We are based in Suffolk, but have members from Essex, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.
At the time of writing, we have 41 members and growing.
The Widows Sons is an international Association which is open to all Freemasons who enjoy motorcycling and have a desire to ride and associate with their fraternal brothers.
They are the only Widows Sons in the UK that is recognised by the United Grand Lodge of England.

We aim to raise Masonic awareness while attending public motorcycling events and support our regular Lodges in whatever capacity we are able.
We aim to increase Masonic membership through our presence and visibility during public motorcycle events , rallies and ride outs.
We aim to raise money for both Local and national charities.
And to have fun riding motorcycles.
Our founding members, Glen, Mike and Kev were members of the Anglia Chapter. They felt that it was the appropriate time to form a Suffolk Chapter. So as not to confuse the issue with other Chapters, The Anglia Chapter became the Suffolk Chapter and was consecrated in February 2023.
Consequently, there are now Chapters in Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex, and it is hoped that a Cambridgeshire will flourish in the near future.
We aim to raise money for local and National charities, and raise awareness of Freemasonry
and the Widows Sons. Some say that we are the 'face' of Freemasonry as we are out on the roads for all to see.
We meet on Sundays, our Road Captain, Martin 'Sarge' Serjeant plans and posts a ride a few days before which will include a cafe for us to eat, drink and chat.
We meet socially for curries and drinks, these are organised by our Events co-ordinator, Bob 'Flick' Cunningham.
We are unique in having amongst our chapter The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, who too is a keen motorcyclist.
We were both proud and honoured to attend the installation of our brother on Friday 3rd November 2023 at Holbrook where we permitted to wear our cuts during the meals and both ceremonies.
